Note from the E.E.P.T.A. President
Hello Evergreen Families,
I want to start by thanking everyone who volunteered and attended our Fall Festival – it was a fantastic success! Thanks to you, it was a memorable day for our Evergreen community, and we’re already planning for next year’s event!
October wrapped up with another crowd favorite, the Teacher Take Over at Papa John’s. With your support, we raised over $1,000, all of which will go directly back to our staff! Huge thanks to everyone who placed an order and helped make this event such a success.
As we look to November, we’re gearing up for our biggest fundraiser of the year, the APEX FUN RUN, taking place from 11/6 - 11/15. This year, all funds raised will support our Evergreen Outdoors Initiative. Stay tuned for an exciting new project coming to life at the front of the school – it will not only enhance the look of Evergreen but also support our school safety initiatives.
Mark your calendars for our Chuck E. Cheese Spirit Night on November 20th! Join us for an evening of fun, games, and pizza – with some big surprises planned for the event! It’s going to be a blast, so don’t miss it!
Lastly, if you haven’t yet joined the PTA, we’re asking for your support before December 1st.
Our goal is to reach 475 members this year, and we’re just under 100 short of that target. Joining the PTA means supporting the mission and values of an organization that’s on track to give back over $100,000 to our school community this year. Membership is essential to achieving this level of impact!
And, did you know that joining the PTA does not require you to volunteer? While we’d love your involvement, there’s no obligation. My personal request as your PTA President is for
everyone who hasn’t joined yet to please consider doing so before December 1st. As an added incentive, any new member who joins by then will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card!
Thank you for your ongoing support of the PTA. We look forward to seeing you around school, and as always – Go Eagles!
Warmly,
Sarah Werner-Ellis
Evergreen PTA President
